Jonathan Hayes is a published artist/composer/producer from Hollywood California with a proven ability to produce strong memorable tracks for t.v, film and other artists.
Jonathan has been writing and performing for most of his life. The youngest of seven children he comes from a family with a strong background in the music industry . Jonathan’s brother Chris Hayes was in the band Huey Lewis And The News and wrote many of their great songs like "Power Of Love" and "I Want A New Drug". His brother Kevin has played drums and writes for The Robert Cray Band, Matt Schofield, Van Morrison and many other artists. And his sister Bonnie Hayes is an outstanding songwriter and performer writing such hits as "Love Letter" and "Have A Heart" for the grammy winning Bonnie Raitt, Bette Midler, David Crosby and many other artists..Growing up in this environment has only magnified Jonathan’s ability to write and produce for himself and many other artists.
Lately Jonathan has been producing for independent artists, his owns cd's and focusing his attention on T.V. and film. He has many placements in T.V and film including MTV's "Real world" on 5 different season's including San Diego the latest season, NBC's "Starting Over" licensed 21 songs MTV's "Undressed", "Coming Out" and more. Also songs in 2 Disney made for T.V movies, "The Banger Sisters" (Fox searchlight) staring Goldie Hawn, "Ghosts Never Sleep" staring Faye Dunaway, "Bridesmaid #3 and many more. Jonathan has incredible passion for writing and producing music and thrives on collaborating with great musicians. He has produced over 10 Albums for various artists and countless songs including Heather Donavon's "Sense Of Me" which was co/produced with Keb Mo and Heather.
